Our Research Assistant and PhD Student, Héctor A. Morales Zúñiga, spent a research stay at Tilburg University during the last two months. Supervised by Professor Hans Lindahl he discussed the relationship between constitutional interpretation and the concept of constituent power.
Héctor Morales also profited from the opportunity to discuss his paper “Constitutional Intent, Constituent Power, and Joint Commitments” in both the Research Seminar Legal Philosophy at Tilburg University and the Boundaries of Law Seminar at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Another summer activity included his active participation in the XIIIth Central and Eastern European Network of Jurisprudence Conference (CEENJ) hosted by the University of Zagreb. Since the origins of the CEENJ network in 2005, the Chair of Legal Philosophy in Graz has been engaged in this dialogue with scholars from the Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea area.
Graz Jurisprudence takes seriously the international mobility of its members, thus contributing towards the progress and visibility of their PhD theses.
