Austrian Center for Intelligence, Propaganda and Security Studies (ACIPSS
The Austrian Center for Intelligence, Propaganda and Security Studies (ACIPSS) is an internationally recognised, non-profit research centre that is linked to the Institute for the Foundations of Law through a cooperation agreement with the Karl-Franzens University of Graz. For almost two decades, ACIPSS has been conducting a wide range of interdisciplinary research on regional and international security issues. The focus is on research into intelligence studies, propaganda and security-related issues, including hybrid threats, terrorism, radical ideologies, conflicts, crises and wars.
Thanks to many years of experience in the scientific processing of historical and contemporary topics, ACIPSS is today an important provider and mediator of information and knowledge - in Austria and beyond. The centre relies on a global network of experts and acts as a nexus between different disciplines and fields of activity. In a variety of formats, events and publications, ACIPSS offers experienced researchers, young academics, practitioners and the interested public the opportunity to analyse past events, discuss current security policy issues and deal with the challenges of the future.
