Thomas Schoditsch
As a civil law expert, Thomas Schoditsch researches and teaches private law and the interfaces with related areas of law - such as fundamental rights, procedural law and insolvency law. He is interested in current issues of commercial law, with a particular focus on consumer protection. He is also particularly interested in social developments and their influence on family law. As a former judge, he solves legal problems with a practical and procedural approach, which makes him a popular lecturer for practitioners. Due to his experience as a legislator at the Federal Ministry of Justice, he regularly advises on legislative processes, especially in the areas of consumer protection and family law.
